Being Crystal Clear About Your Idea: The 20:1 Axiom

In the last blog, I addressed a specific question, “What Do You Want? Never Let Your Seeds Fall on Haters.”  Now that you should have a general sense of who the haters are and how not to attract them to you, being crystal clear about your idea is the topic of this latest blog post.  I wanted to share a process of understanding that explains why an idea may not come to fruition or be embodied.  Each idea that comes to you through the process of discernment or intuition is meant for you and only you.  So, what are you going to do about it?  Will you let it sit?  Will you tune it out, or will you share it with others because you’re unsure of your ability to make it happen?  What can it be other than doubt, fear, and limitation by allowing your dream/gift to fester and not share it with the world by making it happen? NOTHING!  Time is on your side.  So wave goodbye to Fear and Doubt (F.A.D) and wish them well on their journey because their time with you has ended.  You are going to make your idea or gift a reality because you’re very clear on what you want.  Know that mistakes will happen along the way.  Reflect and examine the root cause/s using the H.T.RS. chart.

Another technique to use is The 20:1 Axiom Chart.  This chart helps you visualize and understand the meaning of the 20:1 truth. The 20:1 axiom is a mathematical way of helping you see that when your idea comes to you and only you, it begins at one hundred percent, 100%.  Your idea decreases by twenty percent, 20% each time you share it with someone.  The chart below provides a crystal clear visual of the decreasing effect when you share your idea, or any information related to it before you have made it a reality.  We are feeling beings.  The nervous system reaches every part of your body and whatever we take in through the five (5) senses, registers a feeling.  That feeling charges your mental world to respond to those feelings.  If you feel you are not able to begin unfolding the idea, it sends a signal to your subconscious mind.  Yes, just that fast, your thoughts can go out and register a feeling in you.  The next thing you know, you’re sharing the idea with one or more people and find yourself on the negative end of the axiom.  Thus, the ideas never come true or into existence!  Examine where the flipping of the axiom began.  You tell three (3) people, and you end up on the flip side of the axiom at a forty percent, 40% chance of you making your idea a reality.  By telling these three people, YOU flipped the axiom by giving up sixty percent, 60% of the idea’s value leaving you 40:60 on the axiom; yet you were at 100 % before that feeling brought up something from the past.  Ok, you only told one person and still have an 80% chance of making it happen. You tell two people, and giving you a 60% chance of making your idea a reality.  Stop Here!  It is not necessary to share your ideas any further.

The chart below provides a visual impact of sharing our ideas with others.

The Cyclical Resolve:

We can claim back the energy of your idea through the process of revision. This should be done privately.  It is as follows:

Step One: (To Yourself) Acknowledge What Happened.

Step Three: Use this affirmation, “Only God’s Perfection Goes Forth!” (The I AM Discourses, St. Germain)

Step Two: Read Your Idea to yourself as many times as needed for you to re-ignite the belief in yourself. (This can be done multiple times on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis.)

Use this affirmation as many times as you FEEL fit, especially when those old friends Fear & Doubt attempt to come back.

We are living in the Conceptual Age.  What you conceptualize through the imagination process in any form or method is priceless and you should view it as such!  Your ideas are very valuable and the content you create as a result of this can lead to limitless opportunities.  You are the one who places the amount of value on your idea and determines how it materializes based on your feelings.  Motivational speaker, Les Brown quoted Dr. Howard Thurman in many speeches about reflecting on the dreams and opportunities that come to a person.  Please take as much time as needed to process this quote……

Powerful! Is it not?  So, what do you want?  After you determine what it is, become crystal clear about your idea, dreams, gifts, and opportunities.  Use the cyclical strategies from blogs 1 – 3 to see your way to success by taking advantage of the opportunities that present themselves when you are crystal clear about your dreams and ambitions.  Lastly, I have attached an article written in 2012 by Lisa Bodell. The article lists five work skills needed to survive the conceptual age.  I came across this article, “Work Skills You’ll Need to Survive the Conceptual Age” during my superintendent’s coursework.  This article provides five skills for all workers to be successful, regardless of one’s current status in life.  Use these skills to begin aligning your thinking to the solutions-based approach and to the cyclical resolutions recommended in this blog.

Fear And Doubt are only a F.A.D. that lasts if you hold onto a belief that you cannot accomplish your dreams and goals. Let go, release, and begin working on your gifts and dreams to build a new experience for yourself. Louis Armstrong says it best in his song, “What a Wonderful World.”  One small change can produce a large impact and shift your dreams and abilities to new heights.
